Frequently asked questions to VICKY LASH
This is because all boosters smell exactly as they are. They contain no fragrances or perfumes. By deliberately avoiding these, people with very sensitive skin can also use the products. If the new Glycolic Night Booster has a certain smell, it is because the active ingredients are not masked by perfume or fragrances. The ingredient simply smells as it is. I am very pleased about this, because I think perfume and fragrances have no place in skincare products. It is okay if a lipstick or blush has a scent, but anything that stays on the skin and is supposed to work should be fragrance-free.
Correct. But the earlier Beautymates creams were also like that. You can mix them with the boosters, which are these little bottles here. The boosters contain highly concentrated active ingredients and each bottle has a special function. The new Hyaluronic Boost cream also contains shea butter, which makes it very nourishing, but it is generally suitable for all skin types. They have now made it a little more minimalist and only have one cream in the range.
Whenever a brand relaunches, they always make sure to up the ante and we definitely saw that with the Eyelifting Booster. Not only does it contain some great extracts like ash bark extract and silk tree extract, which help to reduce dark circles and bags under the eyes and lift the eye - the consistency has also changed. Silicone has been replaced with a very nice red algae extract, which has a similar smoothing effect but is more plant-based. Beautymates focuses on clean beauty and tries to keep the brand as pure as possible. If you look at the ingredients, you will see that they are highly concentrated and highly effective.
This was combined with the Peptide Lifting Booster. Retinol is one of the top anti-aging ingredients ever. The concentration was reduced slightly due to an EU regulation. Instead, an extract was added that was previously contained in the Peptide Lifting Booster. The new Lifting Booster is the successor. 0.3% retinol is still highly concentrated and in combination with ceramides and lifting peptides it is an extremely effective anti-aging booster. You should always apply this booster in the evening.
You can do that, but you should make sure that this cream is also Clean Beauty. My recommendation: It's best to use the Hyaluronic Boost Cream from Beautymates.
Please do not use all serums together. You should not combine the Lifting Booster with Vitamin C. This means that if you use the Lifting Booster in the evening, do not use the Glow Booster until the next morning. You should also not apply the Lifting Booster together with the Glycolic Night Booster.
Yes, this is the Glow Booster. The niacinamide makes the pores fine.
Yes, this is the Glycolic Night Booster. It is designed for people who want a beautiful, even complexion and are prone to blemishes.
The Anti Pimple Booster and the Wake Up Booster are now the Clear Skin Booster.
These are two completely different boosters. Glycolic Night is a fruit acid peeling that removes the top dead skin layer. Salicylic acid also cleanses the pores. The lifting booster, especially with the millet extract, smoothes the skin surface, stimulates collagen production and thus ensures fewer wrinkles.
